People that know me, know that I am a wee bit of a shopaholic. I had bought this huge kiss a few years ago and have never used it till a few weeks back. Just like a good shopper knows…”its all in the timing”! ha ha… Well I am happy that I saved the kiss, because it was time to use it with this cutie. These images are oh so sweet! I love them! In the summer I went to a photography workshop put on by world-famous Sandy Puc. She does amazing work with babies & I was so impressed!… But, It wasn’t until recently that I wanted to start my own program like Sandy’s. This is how I got the ball rolling….I was working on my computer and typed in a search for all the pictures that I have taken of Leah (above). I had so many, from newborn to her one year pat-a-cake session. I felt a feeling of satisfaction & gratitude that I was able to do this for Leah and her family. So now, I would like to introduce my “Baby Steps” program to all new and expecting moms & dads. I would love to be the photographer to document the precious steps that your child will go through. Babies change so quickly, and some times we don’t realize it until the days turn into months and month into years. How precious would it be to have the milestones documented professionally with out the worries! This is a four step program, with each session strategically placed at exciting turning points of your babies first year of life. I start with a newborn session (so tiny and new). At 3 months your child will start to smile and giggle ~ so much fun. At around 6 month, your child will be able to sit up (a truly amazing stage) and at one year standing (the freedom). The program ends with the pat-a-cake session. I supply the cake and I clean up the mess! The program is a value of 1180 but I am offering it for 885 (also includes a 200 print credit) when paid in full. Thanks again to Sandy, Leah and her family for all the inspiration and fun times! ~B~
I have wanted to do a “pat-a-cake” series for some time now and finally got the chance. After taking a few sweet shots of this beautiful newly turned one year old I brought out the cake! When I first met Hunter I thought he would make strange with me….boy was I wrong! The first thing he did was come crawling towards me really fast…..we had lots of fun and lots and lots of movement….here are some of my favorites of him.

It is so hard to be super cool when you look this darn cute! He reminds me time and time again that de does not like to do “no-smiles” because he can’t keep the silly smiles from jumping out. ~B~

I feel especially lucky when families choose me to document this particular time in the children’s life. I know they will always cherish this time together. As a mom myself, I can’t help but think of my own children and how quickly time passes by. ~happy holidays~B
